When Aaron Tawny first started the price of a pint of beer was £1.95, a loaf of bread 52p, a pint of milk 34p, and a gallon of unleaded 76p. Manchester United won the Premier League, England were the Six Nations winners and Great Britain won 11 gold medals in the Sydney Olympics.
We are proud to share our news that Aaron Tawny has been going for 25 years!
Aaron Tawny initially began with Neil Etheridge, Patrick Groome and Clare Maddison. Our ethos back then was “Big enough to cope, small enough to care”.
Our team has grown to a total of 15 including both financial advisers and administration, and our ethos remains unchanged.
When asked about her time at Aaron Tawny, Clare said “When we started out it was just Neil, Patrick and I all in one room, goodness knows how we
managed back then. We have expanded into bigger premises and grown with experience and
numbers over the past 25 years which has been really nice to be part of.” Clare’s chair is 25 years old and still going strong! They don’t make them
like that anymore – that’s the chair not Clare.
